How to pack for a week's holiday in a carry-on

As I mentioned a few weeks ago on Twitter, I had a fabulous (and not a little surreal) experience recently when I was invited to the photo studio of the Daily Mail for a feature on packing light.

Actually, it was more about packing cleverly - trying get as much as humanly possible into a carryon for a summer beach holiday. Spending the afternoon with the superhuman crew of ladies at the Mail was a treat, as well as an exercise in creativity - they threw me some curveballs, like trying to fit a full-sized beach towel in your bag (which we did! But seriously, just pick one up when you're there or borrow one from your accommodation).

Please check out the piece - it would be great if you'd help me share it! And if you have any tips of your own, I'd love to hear them.

Please note the fact that I look like a bona fide grown-up. Not entirely sure how that happened, but it was probably due to the regulation knee-length sheath dress... seriously, it's like The Law. Now you'll be noticing it now every time you look at a Mail piece. You're welcome!
