For a different kind of light travel -- one that helps the earth! -- I found this very cool resource for finding wildlife preservation volunteer work. I have not researched all of these organizations, though -- remember that you should never share personal data with or give money to an organization unless you've done your homework!
And since today's theme is light, here are some beautiful photos I found of gorgeous light in gorgeous places...
